After we completed our 2 week training at the MTC, we had a few days open before we flew to the Philippines. I felt we needed to visit my Mom and Linda in Jerome, Idaho.
We had a great visit with Mom and took her on a drive to the areas around our old home south of Jerome. We had a great time remembering all the things that were part of my growing up.
My Mother is a strong lady in the gospel. She has a strong testimony and has always been an example in righteous living. I am grateful for that time together before we left.
We saw Linda and I'm impressed with how well she has done since the passing of her husband Jan.
It is always good to go to Jerome, but this time it felt different.
