BIRTHDAY IN A BIG AND FUN WAY

Jomel Villanueva is one of the most liked persons I have met here. He works for the church in the ERC (Employment Resource Center) at the Aurora Chapel. We see him often because he is under the Area Welfare Manager.
When he shows up, it's going to be a fun time.

Well it's his birthday and we all got invited. The tradition in the Philippines is very different than in the US. Here, if it's your birthday, you bring all the food and feed everyone else. If you don't want to bring the food, you had better take the day off. Behind him is Rice, Lechon, Baked Spaghetti (His specialty), and stuff I had never seen before. But it was great. We happen to have a wheelchair with us and used it as one of the props in the celebration. Besides the floral gifts, they also gave him P.J.s and slippers. He may be getting older, but he definitely hasn't lost his sense of humor.

    1. Isn't it amazing how our time is flying by and no matter our assignment, we feel the great love of the Savior in everything we are doing. We are so blessed to have you 2 as friends.
